The snake has no tale but a tail to tell.
The snake has no tale but a tail to tell.
The snake has no tale but a tail to tell.

The snake has no tale but a tail to tell.
The snake has no tale but a tail to tell.
The snake has no tale but a tail to tell.
The snake has no tale but a tail to tell.
The tail is missing, cut off.
Slivering from a tiny cave to another trying to find its tale.
Leaving traces of shedded skin that resembles the silhouette of the mountains.
Creating a landscape of what can be told.
The dried skin is still present in my scent. Shedding my way to new
tails.
Ecdysis means when a snake sheds its skin few times a year.
This work is a moving image and sound piece, an imaginative
landscape, of my birth country Iraq. I am reimagining how Iraq resembles and feels like through fragmented memories I have and folk-lore stories told by my mother.
